A place for storing goods. For each warehouse, you can enter address data and data relating to its type.
Blocked Stock Point Details (whwmd6152m000)Use this session to view the details of blocked stock points. If present, you can maintain the project pegging or ownership blockings generated by LN. Project pegged inventory and ownership If the blocked stock points have different ownership, LN applies this sequence to determine the blocked ownership:
If the ownership is identical for all of the blocked stock points, the ownership remains unchanged.
Warehouse A place for storing goods. For each warehouse, you can enter address data and data relating to its type. Location A distinct place in a warehouse where goods are stored. A warehouse can be divided into locations to manage the available space, and to locate the stored goods. Storage conditions and blocks can be applied to individual locations. Item The raw materials, subassemblies, finished products, and tools that can be purchased, stored, manufactured, and sold. An item can also represent a set of items handled as one kit, or which exist in multiple product variants. You can also define nonphysical items, which are not retained in inventory but can be used to post costs or to invoice services to customers. The examples of nonphysical items:
Lot A number of items produced and stored together that are identified by a (lot) code. Lots identify goods. Inventory Date A date that is assigned to items when they are stored. You can use inventory dates to retrieve items based on FIFO (First In First Out) or LIFO (Last In First Out), without carrying out extensive lot control. The meaning of the inventory date is connected to the outbound priority of LIFO, FIFO, or the product expiry date of the item. With outbound priority LIFO or FIFO, the default for the inventory date is the system date; however, you can overwrite this so that the inventory date does not have to be equal to the storage date. If the item has a particular shelf life, the inventory date is the product expiry date defined for the item. Handling Unit The handling unit of the blocked stock point. Total Blocked Quantity The total blocked quantity of the stock point. The inventory unit used to express the total blocked quantity. Total Blocked Quantity for Planning The blocked quantity for the stock point with a blocking reason of type Inventory Blocking including EP. Line The project peg line number. Activity The smallest part of the activity structure used for a time-scaled budget. An entity that is used to represent a part of a project in an activity structure. LN distinguishes these activity types:
