| Work Order Activity (tswcs2610m000)Use this session to view, maintain and
create a work order activity. A work order activity can be based on the reference activities that
are defined in the Activity Management module. If you do not use reference activities, you can
identify the work order activity with a description. For more information on
the satellite and the MMT sessions, refer to: Integration with Infor LN Quality Infor LN allows you to create non-conformance reports for service objects,
using the Create Non-Conformance Report option on the Action menu. The Non-Conformance Reports (qmncm1100m000) session is invoked, wherein you can create the
report for the service object. Infor LN allows you to link non-conformance reports for service objects,
using the Link Non-Conformance Report option on the Action menu.
The Non-Conformance Reports (qmncm1100m000) session is invoked, wherein you can select the
report to be linked to the service object. You can use the Unlink Non-Conformance Report option on the Action menu to unlink the
Non-Conformance report. The Related Orders - Quality Management (tsmdm4500m100) session is invoked, wherein
you can select the report to be unlinked. Note - These non-conformance report options are visible only if
the Non-Conformance Reports check box is selected in the General Service Parameters (tsmdm0100m000) session.
- The Create Non-Conformance Report option is enabled only if the Item is specified for the service object.
- You cannot delete a work order activity with Activity Status field set to Free or Planned if:
- The work order is external (work order linked to a part
maintenance line).
- The Allow to Delete Estimates field is set to No in the Maintenance Sales Control Parameters (tsmsc0100m000) session.
- The work order is linked to a maintenance sales order
activity line that is created for a part line with the Status set to Free.
Work Order The series code that identifies the work order. Note You can define the
series defined for the work order number group in the First Free Numbers (tcmcs0150m000) session. The number group for work orders is set in
the Work Order Parameters (tswcs0100m000) session. Work Order number cannot be
modified after the creation of the order. Description The description or name of the code. Order Status The status of the work order. The work order status is used to
control the various phases of the work order process. Note You can change the
work order status at any time if the status is Free or Planned. After the work
order is released, all work order activities must be completed before the work
order can be updated to the next status. Description The description or name of the code. Activity Status The current status of the work order activity. The work order
activity status is used to control the various phases of the work order
activity process. Subcontracted If this check box is selected, the activity of the work order is
sub-contracted. Master Routing The reference activity that identifies the master routing, and is
selected from the Reference Activities (tsacm1101m000) session. Note - If the item of the
work order is serialized, the serial number of the item must be within the
serialized item ranges of the master routing.
- The service
department that is specified on the work order header must be linked to the
activity group that is linked to the reference activity in the Activity Management module.
- The master routing is used if the Use Master Routing check
box is selected in Work Order Parameters (tswcs0100m000) session.
Description The description or name of the code. Reference Activity The reference activity that must
be carried out. You can enter a single reference activity or the reference
activity that is specified for an operation in the master routing. Note - If a main service
department must carry out the work order, you can only select reference
activities that are defined for the item that must be maintained and for the
main service department in the Reference Activities (tsacm1101m000) session.
- You cannot modify
the reference activity if the activity status is Released, Completed, Signed-Off, Closed,
or Canceled.
- If the Reference Activity Mandatory check box in the Work Order Parameters (tswcs0100m000) session is selected, the reference activity
must be filled in.
- The serialized item
must belong to the serialized item ranges that are defined for the reference
activity in the Reference Activities (tsacm1101m000) session.
Description The description or name of the code. Assembly Activity The code of the work order activity that assembles the
subassemblies back into a finished item. Site The code of the site where the work order activities are executed. Description The description or name of the code. Work Center The work center in which the work order activity is carried
out. Description The description or name of the code. Checklist The checklist that is used to carry out the work order
activities. Project The code of the project to which the work order activity is
pegged. Note - This field is displayed only if the Project Pegging check box is selected in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session.
- This field is applicable only if
- Project pegging data is specified for the related work
order in the Work Orders (tswcs2100m000) session.
- Project pegging is implemented for the item.
- This value is defaulted:
- From the Costing Breaks (tppdm3600m000) session.
- Based on the Project specified for the service contract
linked to the work order, if a value is not specified in the Costing Breaks (tppdm3600m000) session.
- From the Work Orders (tswcs2100m000) session, if a value is not specified for the service
contract.
- You can specify a project:
- That is not linked to a contract in Infor LN Project and
for which invoicing through sales is allowed.
- For which the status is set to Active.
- That is not a Project (PCS).
- This value must be specified if in the Items (tcibd0501m000) session:
- The Mandatory Project Peg check box is selected for the
item specified on the work order.
- The Inherit Project Peg check box is selected and the
Project Peg is maintained on the work order header.
- If the work order is linked to a maintenance sales order,
this value is defaulted from the Maintenance Sales Order - Part Lines (tsmsc1110m000) session.
- This value can be modified only if the work order status is
set to Free.
Description The description or name of the code. Element The element that is linked to the project. Note - This field is displayed only if:
- The Project Pegging check box is selected in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session.
- The Element check box is selected in the Project Parameters (tppdm0100s000) session.
- This field is applicable only if:
- The Project is specified.
- Project Element is applicable for the
Project.
- This value must be specified if the element is mandatory
for the project.
- This value is defaulted from:
- The Work Orders (tswcs2100m000) session.
- The Maintenance Sales Order Activity Lines (tsmsc1111m000) session.
- The Service Contracts (tsctm3100m000) session based on the contract linked to the related
work order.
- The Costing Breaks (tppdm3600m000) session.
- This value can be modified only if the work order status is
set to Free.
Activity The activity that is linked to the project. Note - This field is displayed only if:
- The Project Pegging check box is selected in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session.
- The Activity check box is selected in the Project Parameters (tppdm0100s000) session.
- This field is applicable only if:
- The Project is specified.
- Project Activity is applicable for the
Project.
- This value must be specified if the activity is mandatory
for the project.
- This value is defaulted from:
- The Work Orders (tswcs2100m000) session.
- The Maintenance Sales Order Activity Lines (tsmsc1111m000) session.
- The Service Contracts (tsctm3100m000) session based on the contract linked to the related
work order.
- The Costing Breaks (tppdm3600m000) session.
- This value can be modified only if the work order status is
set to Free.
Project Peg Origin The origin of a project peg. Note - This field is applicable only if the Project Pegging and the Costing Breaks check boxes are selected in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session.
- By default, this field is set to:
- Costing Break, when the project peg is defaulted from the Costing Breaks (tppdm3600m000) session.
- Top Demand, when the project peg is defaulted from the
related work order or the service contract linked to the work order.
- Manual if the
work order is an internal work order.
- Not Applicable, when the project peg or the costing breaks is not
applicable.
Description The description or name of the code. Finding Reason The code that identifies the result of the inspection. Description The description or name of the code. Findings Text If this check box is selected, a text is added to the finding reason. Signed-off By The service employee who signs off the activity. The employee
must possess the required sign-off skills. Description The description or name of the code. Signed-off Time The date and time when the activity status is set to Signed-Off. Planned Start Time The planned time to start the execution of the work order
activity. The planned start time can be (re)calculated based on the order
duration and the planned finish time. Click Calculate to (re)calculate the planned start time based
on a calendar. Note The planned start time must be: - Equal to or after
the earliest start time.
- Equal to or before
the latest finish time.
Earliest Start Time The earliest time when you can start to carry out the work
order activity. Note - If you have made an
appointment for the work order, you can only modify the earliest start time and
the latest finish time in the Appointments (tsmdm0123m000) session.
- The planned start
time must be after the earliest start time.
- If the work order is
derived from a maintenance sales order, the earliest start time is equal to the
planned receipt time on the maintenance sales order line.
- If the work order is
a related work order that is created from a work order material resource line,
the earliest start time is equal to the current time.
Planned Start Time The actual date and time when the work order activity is
started. Finish Time The planned time on which you must finish the work order. If
you have defined work order activities, the planned finish time is derived from
the work order activities. The planned finish time can be (re)calculated based
on the order duration and the planned start time. Click Calculate to (re)calculate the planned finish time
based on a calendar. Note The planned finish time must be: - Equal to or after
the earliest start time.
- Equal to or before
the latest finish time.
Latest Finish Time The latest time at which you can finish the work order. Note - If you have made an
appointment for the work order, you can only modify the earliest start time and
the latest finish time in the Appointments (tsmdm0123m000) session.
- The planned finish
time must be before the latest finish time.
- If the work order is
derived from a maintenance sales order, the latest finish time is equal to the
planned delivery time on the maintenance sales order line.
- If the work order is
a related work order that is created from a work order material resource line,
the latest finish time is equal to the earliest start time of the work order
activity/order depending on which the line is linked to.
Finish Time The date and time when work on the work order activity is
finished. Material Availability Inventory Check Status The overall inventory status for all the material lines
belonging to the activity. Available to Promise Indicates if the inventory for all the material lines
belonging to the activity is available, calculated by the ATP check. Available Date Latest ATP Date for all the material lines belonging to the
activity. Checked On Date Latest ATP Check On Date for all the material lines belonging
to the activity. Planned Available Indicates if the inventory for all the material lines
belonging to the activity is available, calculated by the Planned inventory
check. Available Date Latest Planned Available Date for all the material lines
belonging to the activity. Checked On Date Latest Planned Check On Date for all the material lines
belonging to the activity. On Hand Inventory Available Indicates if the inventory for all the material lines
belonging to the activity is available, calculated by the On Hand inventory
check. Checked On Date Latest On Hand Check On Date for all the material lines
belonging to the activity. Material Issue Constraint The level at which, the material lines must be shipped
completely. Note - The value in this field is defaulted from the Work Orders (tswcs2100m000) session.
- This field is disabled if:
- The Status of the Activity Line is set to Completed.
- For a Released Activity Line, a related warehouse order exists, that
cannot be modified.
