Update Prices and Rates (tppdm0201m000)

Use this session to globally update purchase prices, cost prices, and sales prices of standard cost objects. The intercompany prices and rates of task and subcontracting costs are also updated.

You can update the following:

  • Purchase price, unit cost and sales price for items
  • Cost rate and sales rate for labor
  • Purchase price, cost rate and sales rate for equipment
  • Purchase price, unit cost and sales price for subcontracting
  • Unit cost and sales price for sundry costs
  • Intercompany Rate and Intercompany Price for Labor and Subcontracting
Procedure

1 Specify whether you want to update the prices by a percentage or by a fixed amount. 2 Indicate the percentage or the amount of the update. Use positive values for price increases; use negative values for price decreases. 3 For each cost type, specify the prices you want to update. 4 For each cost type, specify the range of cost objects whose prices you want to update.

Fluctuation Settlement Method

Indicates the update method that is used to update prices and rates of standard cost objects.

Percentage

The price change specified in percentage.

Note
New price = Old price
		  + (old price x percentage/100)

This field is enabled only if Update method prices and rates is set to Update with Percentage.

Amount

The price change specified in amount.

Note
New price = Old price +
		  Amount

This field is enabled only if the Fluctuation Settlement Method is set to Update with Fixed Amount.

Only for Currency

The currency in which the update amount is expressed.

Note

This field is enabled only if the Fluctuation Settlement Method is set to Update with Fixed Amount.

Description

The description or name of the code.

Options-Materials
Unit Cost

If this check box is selected, the unit cost of the item is updated.

Item Group

The From and To fields define a range of: item groups for which the updates are applicable.

Note

This field range is enabled only if you select the Unit Cost check box.

From Item

The From and To fields define a range of: items for which the updates are applicable.

Note

This field range is enabled only if you select the Unit Cost check box.

Cost Rate

If this check box is selected, the task unit cost is updated by the percentage or amount specified in the Settings group box, on the Selection Range 1 tab.

Sales Rate

If this check box is selected, the task sales price is updated by the percentage or amount specified in the Settings group box, on the Selection Range 1 tab.

Intercompany Rate

If this check box is selected, the intercompany rate for tasks is updated by the percentage or amount specified in the Settings group box, on the Selection Range 1 tab.

Cost Rate

If this check box is selected, the unit cost of the equipment cost is updated by the percentage or amount specified in the Settings group box, on the Selection Range 1 tab.

Sales Rate

If this check box is selected, the sales price of the equipment cost is updated by the percentage or amount specified in the Settings group box, on the Selection Range 1 tab.

Purchase Rate

If this check box is selected, the purchase price of the equipment cost is updated by the percentage or amount specified in the Settings group box, on the Selection Range 1 tab.

Unit Cost

If this check box is selected, the unit cost of the subcontracting cost is updated by the percentage or amount specified in the Settings group box, on the Selection Range 1 tab.

Sales Price

If this check box is selected, the sales price of the subcontracting cost is updated by the percentage or amount specified in the Settings group box, on the Selection Range 1 tab.

Purchase Price

If this check box is selected, the purchase price of the subcontracting cost is updated by the percentage or amount specified in the Settings group box, on the Selection Range 1 tab.

Cost Rate

If this check box is selected, the unit cost of the sundry cost is updated by the percentage or amount specified in the Settings group box, on the Selection Range 1 tab.

Sales Price

If this check box is selected, the sales price of the sundry cost is updated by the percentage or amount specified in the Settings group box, on the Selection Range 1 tab.

Intercompany Price

If this check box is selected, the intercompany price of the cost object of the type sundry cost is updated by the percentage or amount specified in the Settings group box, on the Selection Range 1 tab.

Labor

The From and To fields define a range of: task costs for which the rates are updated.

Note

This field range is enabled only if you select the Cost Rate check box.

Trade Group

The From and To fields define a range of: trade groups for which the rates are updated.

Note

This field range is enabled only if you select the Cost Rate check box.

From Equipment

The From and To fields define a range of: equipment costs for which the rates are updated.

Note

This field range is enabled only if you select the Cost Rate check box.

From Subcontracting

The From and To fields define a range of: subcontracting costs for which the rates are updated.

Note

This field range is enabled only if you select the Unit Cost check box.

Sundry Cost

The From and To fields define a range of: sundry costs for which the rates are updated.
