BI Installation

The installation process:

  1. Download the Infor Program Cost Ledger installer to the server where the BI OLAP server is installed.
  2. Go to the setup files for the Program Cost Ledger 10.4.1, in the system where the Infor BI OLAP Server is installed and click Setup.exe.
  3. Click Next on the Welcome to the Installation Wizard for Infor Program Cost Ledger dialog. Retain the default settings in the Custom Installation dialog box, and click Next. Note the installation path, as this is required during the configuration process. Note You can change the location for the Installation.
  4. Select SQL Server in the Database Server dialog box. Note: Only the SQL Server is supported in this version.
  5. Specify the Database server name , Login ID and Password and click Next. The user must have the administrator rights to create the database, tables, views, functions and stored procedures on the SQL server.
  6. Select SQL Server in the Database Server – Relational Alias (BV_BDS) dialog box, specify the database server, the login ID, password and database name. Use the database name generated during the installation of BDS. Click Next. The user must have the required administrator rights on the server to create the database, tables, views, functions and stored procedures.
  7. Select SQL server in the Script Execution dialog box, specify the database server, login ID, password and database name. Specify the database name created during the installation of BDS 10.3.7. Click Next. The user must have the required administrator rights on the server to create the database, tables, views, functions, and stored procedures.
  8. Specify the computer name on which the OLAP Server is installed in the Repository dialog box, and click Next.
  9. Click Install on the Ready to Install the Program dialog box. Note: To review or modify the settings, click Back.
  10. Click Next in the Installing Infor Program cost Ledger dialog box. Specify a name for the WebService (such as PCL10_4_1_Reports) in the Appllication Studio WebServices Name dialog box, and click Next. The name is used for the URL ID to access the reports, using the web.
  11. Retain the default settings in the Web Services Authentication dialog and click Next.
  12. Specify the User Name and Password in the Create Windows User dialog box and click Finish.
  13. On the Configuration Progress dialog box click Close.
