Shared Work Center Utilization (tisfc1510m000)Use this session to start the sessions to display a shared work center's utilization, and to view which secondary work centers share the capacity of a primary work center (a shared work center relationship).
Shared Primary Work Center A work center that does not have any physical resources and cannot be modeled in a routing. It is used for capacity planning and displays the total capacity requirements of the shared work centers. The work is actually carried out in shared secondary work centers, which can be in the same or a different logistical company than the primary work center. This enables you to plan and carry out work in several different logistical companies (if you define several secondary work centers) without having to use sales orders and purchase order. Shared WorkCenter Company The company of the secondary work center. Shared SecondaryWork Center An operational work center where the work is actually carried out. The secondary work center can be in a different logistical company as the primary work center to which it is linked. This enables you to plan the work to a work center in your own logistical company, but have it carried out in a different logistical company without having to use sales orders and purchase orders. For each primary work center, you can have several secondary work centers. See shared work center. Shared PercentageCapacity The capacity percentage of the primary work center that is assigned to the secondary work center. You define this shared work center relationship in the Shared Work Center Relationships (tirou3100m000) session. Note It is possible for the sum of the secondary work center capacities to exceed 100 per cent, for instance, to take into account overtime. However, this should not be normal practice. Normal Man Capacity The primary work center's normal capacity expressed in man hours. The normal capacity is calculated from the following fields in the Work Centers (tirou0101m000) session: Number of Operators * Basic Day Capacity by Resource Unit. Normal Machine Capacity The primary work center's normal capacity expressed in machine hours. The normal capacity is calculated from the following fields in the Work Centers (tirou0101m000) session: Number of Machines * Basic Day Capacity by Resource Unit.
