Defining blocking reasons for QualityQuality uses blocking reasons to communicate with the Job Shop Control module in Manufacturing. By means of these blocking reasons Quality can block certain actions that you can carry out on operations. For this purpose you must define 5 blocking reasons. The following procedure ensures that each blocking reason has the correct type. Step 1. Define blocking reasons Define 5 blocking reasons in the Blocking Reasons (tisfc2100m000) session with the following characteristics:
Y (Yes) indicates that you must select the check box. Step 2. Define blocks on operations Use these blocking reasons to define the blocks on operations in the Quality Management Parameters (qmptc0100m000) session. Enter the first three blocking reasons in the Block on Operation group box:
Enter the last two blocking reasons in the Block on Completion of Operation group box:
