Clustered Line Station Order - Assembly Part Requirements (tiasc7140m000)

Clustered line-station orders (CLSOs) are used in assembly part allocation and in backflushing to combine materials for a line-station order.

Clustered Line Station Order

Represents all the material requirements for a line station for a day. A CLSO consists of user-defined buckets. The material requirements are combined for each bucket.

In Assembly Control, transactions can be carried out per line station and per period, instead of per order. LN can combine the same materials for a specific period into one material line. After doing so, the cumulated quantity is stored in the CLSO. This accumulation reduces the number of transactions that are necessary, because the transactions are performed for a specific bucket.

Line Station

A work center that is part of an assembly line. A line station is used in the production of FAS (final assembly schedule) items. A line station can have multiple positions, which enables more than one item to be present in one line station.

Warehouse Order

Warehouse Order is used for the planned stock transactions in the Order - Planned Inventory Transactions (whinp1501m000) session in Warehousing.

In case of a Line Station Based scenario, the Warehouse Order number is equal to the Clustered Line Station Order number in this session.

In case of an Order Based scenario, these order numbers are different; the Clustered Line Station Order number is an Assembly Order number and the Warehouse Order number is a different number.

Shop Floor Warehouse

The shop floor warehouse where the assembly part is stored.

Environment
Assembly Part

The component that is allocated to the shop-floor warehouse of the line station for this time bucket.

Option Set

The option set of the product variant in PCF, from which the assembly part originates.

The option set and the product variant number indicate the list of features and options applicable for the assembly part.

Note

This field is only applicable if the assembly part is a configurable item.

Warehouse Order Position

The warehouse order line that allocates the component to the shop-floor warehouse of the line station for this time bucket.

Quantity Required

The quantity of the displayed assembly part that is required by this order for this time bucket.

Inventory Unit
Cumulative Quantity Allocated

The total quantity of the item allocated in the time bucket concerned, by the allocation of assembly parts.

This field is updated when the assembly part allocations are rebuilt and when the parts are backflushed.

Bucket Start Date

A quantity of time used for planning and backflushing.

Also refer to the Bucket Definition (tiasl1100m000) session for more information.

Bucket End Date

A quantity of time used for planning and backflushing.

To beAllocated

If this check box is selected, the assembly parts are not yet allocated to the time bucket.

Quantity to beAllocated

The quantity of the assembly parts, which are pending to be allocated to the time bucket.

To beBackflushed

If this check box is selected, there are assembly parts which must be backflushed.

Quantity to beBackflushed

The quantity of the assembly parts, which are pending to be backflushed.

Quantity Backflushed

The quantity of the assembly parts that has already been backflushed.

Requirement Origin

The origin of the assembly part requirement.

There are two types of requirement origin:

  • Allocation: assembly parts are allocated directly through an order or line station based transaction.
  • Manual: assembly parts are allocated manually to clustered line station order.
