Assembly Part Shortage - Assembly Orders (tiasc2545m000)

Use this session to view lists of orders that are (or may be) affected by assembly part shortages, and to block orders in order to meet the shortage problems.

 

Requirement Date

The date on which the assembly part is required for the production process.

Assembly Part

The assembly part that has shortages.

Assembly Order

The order that belongs to the displayed shortage part.

Blocked

If an order is blocked, the check box in this field is selected.

Planned Offline Date

The date on which the order is planned to go offline.

Assembly Order Status

The status of the order.

Demand Order Type

Displays if an order is a sales order or a pseudo order.

Roll-Off Line

The line on which the parent order is to be completed.

Sold-to Business Partner

If an order is a sales order this field displays the business partner it is sold to.

Required Quantity

The quantity of the displayed assembly part that is required by this order on this date.

Blocked Quantity

The quantity of assembly parts that are in short supply and are required by blocked orders.

Shortage Quantity

The quantity of the parts that are in short supply.

Inventory Unit

The unit of measure that is used to count this assembly part. For example: pcs (pieces).

Inventory Blocking Reason

The reason why an order is (to be) blocked. For inventory shortage, the reason type is Inventory Shortage. You can zoom from this field to the Reasons (tcmcs0105m000) session and select the reason there. If you selected an order that was already blocked, for another type of reason, this reason is not displayed in this field. This field only serves to block orders for inventory shortage reasons.

Remaining Shortage Qty

The initial shortage quantity minus the blocked quantity.

 

Assembly Part Shortages

Zoom to Assembly Order - Assembly Part Shortages (tiasc2546m000) to display assembly parts by order, instead of orders by assembly part.

Blocking Reasons

Zoom to the Assembly Order - Blocking Reasons (tiasc2103m000) session. Here you can block and unblock orders, also with other blocking reason types than Inventory Shortage.

Block Assembly Order

Click to block one or more assembly orders. You must first enter the blocking reason in the Inventory Blocking Reason field and select the orders you want to block.

Delete Inventory Shortage Blocking Reason

Click to remove Inventory Shortage as blocking reason. Removing this reason unblocks the order(s). You must first select the order(s) you want to unblock.

Generate Order Lists...

Zoom to the Generate Assembly Order Lists for Critical Parts (tiasc2245m000) session to create lists of orders that are affected by assembly part shortages.

In this session you can also do the following things:

  • Generate extra orders that use these shortage parts, although the planned inventory stock for them now looks safe.
  • Select the criteria that determine the selection of the orders.
  • Define whether new order lists must be generated, or existing lists must be updated.
