| Operation Assignments (tiapl1510m000)Use this session to specify the line
stations where the operations are executed,
together with the effective date, location, and man occupation of the
operations. Note Using the Assembly Inspection Protocol option from the Reference
menu, you can access the Assembly Inspection Protocol (tiapl1120m000) session that enables you to set up an
inspection protocol for the process variables that are linked to an operation
assignment. If operations are defined in LN, the operations are
defined in the Operations (tiapl1500m000) session. If the operations are not defined in LN, but delivered by
an external source, you cannot change the operation assignments, but only display these
operations in that session. The current session is enabled for data entry through the Operation Assignment (tiapl1110s000) session, if the following conditions apply: - Your current company is defined as the master company in the Assembly Planning Parameters (tiapl0100s000) session.
- The External Assembly Parts and Operations check box is
cleared, or the Test Mode check box is selected in the Assembly Planning Parameters (tiapl0100s000) session.
If the operation assignments are changed, you must run one
of the following sessions to process the changes: - Refresh and Freeze Assembly Orders (tiapl3203m000)
- Refresh and Freeze Assembly Orders (Multiple Bshells) (tiapl3204m000)
Operation The code of the operation that is linked to the line station. Operations are either defined in the Operations (tiapl1500m000) session, or delivered from an external source, which
depends on the selection of the External Assembly Parts and Operations parameter in
the Assembly Planning Parameters (tiapl0100s000) session. Line Station The code of the line station where the operation is performed. Sequence Number A number that distinguishes assignments that are defined on the
same combination of line station and operation. Effective Date The date when the operation assignment becomes
effective. Note - Effectivity overlap is not permitted.
- The Effective Date must fall before the Expiry Date.
- If an exception is used, the operation assignment is effective
if both the date range and the exception are valid.
Expiry Date The date when the operation assignment expires. Note - Effectivity overlap is not permitted.
- The Effective Date must fall before the Expiry Date.
- If an exception is used, the operation assignment is effective
if both the date range and the exception are valid.
