Condition (tgbrg5145s000)

Use this session to select a static condition or a dynamic condition. The condition(s) that you select are linked to the transition from which you started the current session.

Note

You can link both a static condition and a dynamic condition to the same transition at the same time.

Condition

A condition that can be linked to an outgoing transition of a control activity. During the implementation of LN, the static condition values are evaluated by static condition-setting rules and can result in activating/deactivating parts of business processes.

Condition

The description or name of the static condition.

Not

If a static condition is evaluated as True, ERP activates (part of) a business process. The activated process is available in the business-process diagram, to indicate that this (part of) the business process must be carried out.

If a static condition that is evaluated as Not True, ERP deactivates (part of) a business process. The deactivated process is unavailable and appears dimmed, to indicate that this (part of) the business process cannot be carried out.

Note

The active (highlighted) parts and the inactive (dimmed) parts are visible in the process viewer and in the process browser.

Cleared check box

If this check box is cleared, and the value of the static condition that is linked to the arrow is Yes, the static condition is evaluated as being True.

If this check box is cleared, and the value of the static condition that is linked to the arrow is No, the static condition is evaluated as being Not True.

Selected check box

If this check box is selected, and the value of the static condition that is linked to the arrow is No, the static condition is evaluated as being True.

If this check box is selected, and the value of the static condition that is linked to the arrow is Yes, the static condition is evaluated as being Not True.

If this check box is selected, the description that was linked to the static condition in the Static Conditions (tgbrg5580m000) session becomes the description in the business-process diagram and is linked to the outbound transition.

If the Not check box is selected, the description is preceded by the word Not.
