Sales Releases Overview (tdsls3512m000)Use this session to view, enter, and maintain sales releases, which are used to generate sales schedules. A sales release mainly contains business partner data. If you double-click a line, the Sales Release (tdsls3612m000) session is started. Note If the Status is Processed, you can no longer update the sales release.
Release Identifies, by one release number, those sales schedules that share the following common characteristics:
Release Revision A number that uniquely identifies the revision of the release. The release revision number indicates the updates that are sent to the business partner. The first sales release that is created for a specific combination of the following characteristics, receives the revision number one:
When a new sales release revision is created for these characteristics, a sales release revision is created with revision number two, and so on. Release Type A classification used to specify the type of the release based on which schedule requirements are grouped and EDI messages can be generated. These messages are indicated by the used schedule. Allowed values Sales Release Origin The origin that created the sales release. Allowed values
Status The status of the sales release. Allowed values Sold-to Business Partner The business partner who orders goods or services from your organization, who owns the configurations you maintain, or for whom you perform a project. Usually a customer's purchase department. The agreement with the sold-to business partner can include:
Ship-to Business Partner The ship-to business partner to whom you will ship the goods. Ship-to Address The ship-to business partner's address. Customer Release The business partner's release number. This number can be used for reference purposes. Customer Revision The business partner's release revision number. This number can be used for reference purposes. Generation Date The generation date of the business partner's EDI message. Creation Date The date and time on which the sales release is inserted in this session. Shipment or Receipt Based This field indicates whether the schedule requirements for the sales release are Shipment Based or Receipt Based. Allowed values Release Text If this check box is selected, a text is present. Schedule Quantity Qualifier The quantity type that is transmitted in the sales release. Allowed values Forecast Horizon Start The start date of the forecast horizon that was transmitted in the EDI message. Forecast Horizon End The end date of the forecast horizon that was transmitted in the EDI message.

Process Sales Releases Starts the Process Sales Releases (tdsls3208m000) session. Archive and Delete Sales Releases Starts the Archive and Delete Sales Releases (tdsls3209m000) session. Last Revisions If this command is marked, all sales release revisions are displayed. If this command is not marked, only the last sales release revisions are displayed.
