The site for which the sales settings are defined.
Sales Settings by Site (tdsls0511m000)Use this session to view and maintain sales data and settings for individual sites. You can specify the parameter settings specific to the site or use the company parameter settings, which can be enabled using the Use Global check box available in the various tabs of the session. For example, the Use Global Sales Parameters check box indicates whether the company parameter settings are used or site specific settings can be specified.
Site The site for which the sales settings are defined. Description The description or name of the code. Description The description or name of the code. Logistic Company The logistic company to which the site is linked. Description The description or name of the code. External Indicates whether the site belongs to an external party such as a customer or a subcontractor. An external site can include warehouses in which inventory owned by your company is stored, and for which your company performs planning. Warehouse The warehouse linked to the site. This warehouse is responsible to manage the sales orders for the site. Use Global Sales Parameters If this check box is selected, the parameter settings specified in the Sales Parameters (tdsls0500m000) session are used. If this check box is cleared, you can set the sales parameters specific to the site. Maximum Number of Phantom Levels to be Skipped This parameter determines the default number of bill of material (BOM) levels that are summarized when you use phantoms. In Sales Control, you can copy bills of material (BOMs) to sales orders in the Copy BOM Components to Order (tdpur4812s000) session. Note
Configuration Date (PCS) The date on which the bill of material (BOM) must be exploded or the date that determines the valid revision of an engineering item. Note This value is defaulted from the Sales Parameters (tdsls0500m000) session only if the Use Global Sales Parameters check box is selected. The configuration date determines the date with which the effective date or the expiry date is compared in the BOM or the revision. Note In the Sales Order Lines (tdsls4101m000) session, if the Inventory Handling field is set to:
Allowed values Configuration Date (UEF) Last Changed By The code of the user that last modified the parameter settings. Effective Date The date and time at which the parameter settings are modified. Use Global Sales Quotation Parameters If this check box is selected, the parameter settings specified in the Sales Quotation Parameters (tdsls0500m100) session are used. If this check box is cleared, you can set the sales quotation parameters specific to the site. Inventory Check during Quotation Line Entry The option to select whether inventory check must be performed during quotation line entry. Allowed values Inventory Check during Confirmation The option to select whether inventory check must be performed during order confirmation. Allowed values Inventory Check during Processing The option to select whether inventory checks must be performed during order processing. Allowed values Processing in Case of Inventory Shortage If this check box is selected, quotations are copied to sales orders, even if an inventory shortage exists. Extended Inventory Check If this check box is selected, an extended check on available inventory for sales quotation lines is performed, which means sales quotation lines receive a quotation promising status based on which delivery of the lines can or cannot be promised to the customer. Note This check box can only be selected if one or more of the following fields are set to Yes or Time-Phased:
Minimum Probability % for Time Phased Inventory The minimum percentage indicating the possibilities for time phased inventory. Last Changed By The code of the user that last modified the parameter settings. Effective Date The code of the user that last modified the parameter settings. Use Global Sales Order Parameters If this check box is selected, the parameter settings specified in the Sales Order Parameters (tdsls0500m400) are used. If this check box is cleared, you can set the sales order parameters specific to the site. Time-Phased Inventory Check If this check box is selected, the time-phased inventory check is performed.
Forbid Adjustment of Quantity during ATP Available Check Commitment Lead Time Factor The commitment date is calculated during inventory commitment. Part of this calculation is the item's commitment lead time. This lead time can be a factor times the item's normal lead time plus a constant. In this field you define the value of the factor in the following formula: Commitment lead time = factor * order lead time + constant Commitment Lead Time Constant (Hours) The commitment date is calculated during inventory commitment. Part of this calculation is the item's commitment lead time. This lead time can be a factor times the item's normal lead time plus a constant. In this field, you define the value of the constant in the following formula: Commitment lead time = factor * order lead time + constant Confirm Back Orders automatically If this check box is selected, LN automatically confirms backorders. Release Back Orders automatically to Warehousing If this check box is selected, LN automatically releases backorders to Warehousing. Confirm Component Back Orders automatically If this check box is selected, back orders for component lines are automatically confirmed. Order Priority Method If this check box is selected, the priority is assigned for the allocation of a sales order component line. Constant 1 for Back Order Priority The priority assigned to back orders. When back orders are confirmed, the priority is changed according to the following formula: New priority = (old priority / (number of back orders * constant 1)) - constant 2 If constant 1 is zero, the formula is as follows: New priority = old priority - constant 2 Constant 2 for Back Order Priority The priority assigned to back orders. When back orders are confirmed, the priority is changed according to the following formula: New priority = (old priority / (number of back orders * constant 1)) - constant 2 If constant 1 is zero, the formula is as follows: New priority = old priority - constant 2 Last Changed By The code of the user that last modified the order priority. Effective Date The date and time at which the order priority is modified.
