RFQ Criterion Scoring Schemes (tdpur1193m000)

Use this session to specify objective and subjective values and scores to criterions of the following types:

  • Quantity
  • Delivery Time
  • Subjective

The objective value in this example is the difference between the RFQ quantity and the response quantity expressed as a percentage of the RFQ quantity. As a result, if the RFQ quantity is 100 units and the response quantity is 85 units, the objective value would be 15 and the score for the Quantity criterion would be 20.

Note

For criteria of the following criterion types, LN retrieves the scores from other sessions:

  • Net Purchase Price, Net Bidder Price, and Net Price
    LN calculates the score based on the price data in the RFQ Responses (tdpur1506m000) session. Prices are always taken into account when comparing responses.
  • Vendor Rating
    LN retrieves the score from the Vendor Ratings by Period (tdpur8102m000) session or the Vendor Ratings by Criterion (tdpur8102m100) session. Vendor rating is only taken into account in the comparison of responses if the business partner is selected for vendor rating.

Criteria Set

Includes request for quotation (RFQ) criteria and can be linked to an RFQ header. Response lines are compared and ranked based on the objective and subjective criteria in the criteria set.

Criterion Type

The type of criterion for which the value and score are applicable.

Allowed values

  • Quantity
  • Delivery Time
  • Subjective
Note

For criteria of the following criterion types, LN retrieves the scores from other sessions:

You can specify a subjective criterion only if the Criterion Type field is set to Subjective.

Objective Value

The value assigned to the objective criterion.

Allowed values

You can specify an objective value only if the Criterion Type field is set to Quantity or Delivery Time.

Note

An objective value for the Quantity criterion type expresses the difference between the RFQ quantity and the response quantity.

An objective value for the Delivery Time criterion type expresses the difference between the RFQ delivery date and the response delivery date.

Subjective Value

The subjective value assigned to the subjective criterion.

Allowed values

You can specify a subjective value only if the Criterion Type field is set to Subjective.

Score

The score assigned to the criteria values. The score is taken into account when calculating the total score by criterion.
