Roles (tcppl0160m000)

Use this session to define roles. You can use roles to specify the employees' positions and their authorizations to perform specific tasks and processes, or to access specific data.

You can assign roles to:

  • Individual employees, in the Roles by Employee (tcppl0170m000) session. You can start the Roles by Employee (tcppl0170m000) session from the appropriate menu of the Roles (tcppl0160m000) session.
  • Teams of employees, in the Roles by Team (tcppl0180m000) session. You can start the Roles by Team (tcppl0180m000) session from the appropriate menu of the Teams (tcppl0140m000) session.

If this check box is selected, a text is present.

High Authorization Role

If this check box is selected, the role and the linked employee or team have global action rights. They can work on all objects in Object Data Management and cannot be restricted.

Note
  • Only the Super User can promote ODM role to the ‘High Authorization’ role and assign this role to the Normal User.
  • This field is displayed, if Object Data Management (DM) checkbox is selected in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session.
