Enterprise Modeling Management

The Enterprise Modeling Management module takes care of the integration between the LN applications and the Enterprise Modeler. You use the Enterprise Modeling Management module to define further details about the company structure, based on the enterprise structure model that you defined in Enterprise Modeler.

In the enterprise structure model you define various enterprise units. The enterprise units consist of entities such as departments and warehouses.

The Enterprise Modeling Management module is used to:

  • Link the entities as key entities to the enterprise units.
  • Maintain the enterprise structuring data of the key entities.

The other LN packages refer to the database tables of the Enterprise Modeling Management module to retrieve the enterprise unit information of each entity. This information mainly consists of:

  • The company's currency system and home currencies.
  • The enterprise unit to which an entity is linked and, in this way, the financial company to which the entity is linked.
Multisite

If the multisite concepts are activated, you must link the entities of your company structure to both sites and enterprise units. The entities are linked to sites to model the logistic and commercial activities performed at your business locations, and to define master data to determine how these activities are performed.
