Rounding Codes (tcmcs0153s000)

Use this session to specify up to six ranges of values and their rounding values, for the rounding code shown at the top of the session.

Values in the range between two successive To Amounts are rounded to the nearest multiple of the Round to value of that range.

Example

To Amount	Round to
100	1
100.000	5
999999.99	10 These rounding codes result in the following ranges:
	up to 100	round to whole numbers
	from 100 to 100.00	round to a multiple of 5
	over 100.000	round to a multiple of 10

Rounding Code

Set of up to six ranges of values and their rounding values. Rounding codes can be linked to quantities and amounts. They are used when you calculate, for example, purchase prices and discounts, sales prices and discounts, and warehousing rates.

Example

A rounding code can define the following ranges with their rounding values:

Up to 100: round to whole numbers
From 100 to 100,000: round to a multiple of 5
From 100,000 onward: round to a multiple of 100.

To Amount

The highest value of this range. The lowest value of the range is zero.

Round to
