Assign Sites (tcemm0250m000)Use this session to assign sites to entities. Note This session is only available if the Sites parameter in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session is set to Enterprise Model in Preparation.
Note To assign a site to an entity, settings by site must be present for the entity, otherwise the site cannot be linked to the entity. For example, you cannot link a site to a production department if production settings by site are not present. Simulated or actual site assignment To run a simulation of the assignment process and view a report of the results without actually assigning sites:

Address Code The address code. Country Countries are the national states where your suppliers and customers are located. For each country you can define the country code, international dialing, telex, and fax codes. Countries are part of the data that you must set up for tax reporting. In addition, items can be grouped and selected according to their country of origin. ZIP Code/Postal Code A number that identifies each postal delivery area. ZIP codes are used:
ZIP codes are printed on forwarding documents on which no further address data is printed. The ZIP/postal code does not appear in the address lines on order documents. State/Province The site's state or province. City The site's city. GEO Code The code used together with or instead of address information such as the city, state/province, and postal code to identify a taxing jurisdiction. The tax provider determines the GEO code based upon the address information entered and the county and city selected. Warehouses If this check box is selected, sites are assigned to this type of entity if the sites match the criteria specified in the Selection Range and Site Selection Level group boxes. Site Selection Level The address data used to select the sites to be assigned to the types of entities selected in the Entities group box. Simulate If this check box is selected, the site assignment process is run in simulation mode when you click Assign. Sites are not actually assigned. To print a report that shows how the site assignment will look based on the settings specified in this session, select the Print Updated Entities check box. Print Updated Entities If this check box is selected, a report is printed showing the entities to which sites have been assigned. Print Error Report If this check box is selected, a report is printed showing the errors that occurred in the site assignment process Print Detailed Log (on Error Report) If this check box is selected, a detailed error report is printed.
Assign Launches the site assignment process.
