The use of decentralized multicompany planning

Decentralized multicompany planning only involves local scenarios. You do not need to set up a special multicompany scenario, and you do not need to select the following check boxes:

  • The Central Multicompany Planning check box in the Scenarios (cprpd4100m000) session.
  • The Central Multicompany Planning check box in the Items - Planning (cprpd1100m000) session.

You only need to define supplying relationships between the companies involved. Enterprise Planning uses these relationships to carry out distribution planning, and to pass on requirements from one company to another.

You can define supplying relationships in the Supplying Relationships (cprpd7130m000) session.

Note

The passing on of distribution requirements ( dependent distribution demand) between companies only works if you use the same scenario code in each company.
