Use this session to maintain forms.

If you use a multilingual system, maintain your forms in one main language (see the Link to Language field) and use labels. In this way you must only translate the form descriptions, the labels and the user option descriptions, but not the form layout itself. This makes it easier to maintain your forms.

Lingua
The language in which the form is stored. Apart from the form descriptions, the language also determines which field descriptions (labels) and menu command descriptions apply at run time.

For example, if your current language is 2, the previously mentioned descriptions from language 2 are shown at run time. Your current language is specified in the Dati utente (ttaad2500m000) session.

Language
The description of the language code.
Package
The description of the package.
VRC
An upgrade of a package, for example, B61. Each change in the functionality of a package results in a new version. A version can contain several releases.
VRC
An update in a version. For example, 'B61 a', where 'B61' represents the version code, and the 'a' represents the release code. Each update results in a new release with a new release code.
VRC
A code that identifies a customized software package. For example, B61O_a_cus1, where 'B61O' represents the version, 'a' represents the release, and 'cus1' represents the customer extension of the customized software.
Modulo
The module code for which the form is defined.
Module
The description of the module.
Modulo
A screen that appears when a session is started. A form interacts with the database, and provides the user interface that is used to manipulate the data on the form.

The code of the main language in which you initially develop your forms.

The description of the form.

You can define this description as a special field on your form. At run time this description is displayed on your form.

Desc. tac scheda
The description of the form that is shown at run time.
Form Type
The form type of the forms and the script type of the scripts (that are linked to the session) must be similar.

Forms of type 1, 2, and 3 are especially used in maintain and display sessions.

Forms of type 4 are especially used in print and update sessions.

Occurrences
The maximum number of occurrences from the main table which can be displayed on the form at the same time. In most cases this number is limited by the size of the form. This field only applies to form type 2 and 3.
Horizontal
If this check box is selected, records are shown below each other.

If this check box is cleared, records are shown side by side.

Nota

This field only applies to multi-occurrence forms (type 2 and 3).

Step Size
If the Horizontal check box is selected, the current field indicates the number of lines used by one occurrence.

If the Horizontal check box is cleared, the current field indicates the number of columns used by one occurrence.

Nota
  • Most forms in Tools are horizontal multi-occurrence forms with step size 1 (the records are displayed below each other, with 1 line for each record).
  • This field only applies to multi-occurrence forms (type 2 and 3).
Command Type
It depends on the selection you make in this field whether you can select a standard command or a form (specific) command in the Pulsante predefinito field.
Pulsante predefinito
A button with a bold outline around it. The button is activated when you press ENTER at run time. It must be assigned to the most likely action that the user must carry out.

It depends on the selection you make in the previous field whether you can zoom to:

Utente
The LN user who created the form.
Data
The date when the form was last modified.
Scaduto
If this check box is selected, the form is expired for the package VRC specified and the package VRCs that are derived from it.
Document. tecnica
If this check box is selected, Technical Documentation is available.
Release Notes
If this check box is selected, Release Notes are available
