Number groups in Service

The number groups in Service must be defined in the following order:

  1. Number groups at company level

    These number groups must be defined in the following sessions:

    • Contract Management Parameters (tsctm0100m000) session for the number groups of the service contracts and the service-contract quotations.
    • Call Parameters (tsclm0100m000) session for the number groups of the calls.
    • Service Order Parameters (tssoc0100m000) session for the number groups of the service orders, the service-order quotations, the blank service order sheets, and for the field change orders.
    • Work Order Parameters (tswcs0100m000) session for the number groups of the work orders.
    • Maintenance Sales Control Parameters (tsmsc0100m000) session for the number groups of the maintenance sales orders.
  2. Number groups at service department level
    These number groups must be defined in the Service Departments (tsmdm1100m000) session.
  3. Number groups at user level
    These number groups must be defined in the Service User Profiles (tsmdm1150m000) session. They are defined from number groups at the service-department level using the Get Number Groups button.
Note

If the number groups at service department level are changed, the number groups at user level are not automatically changed. To update the number groups at user level, click the Get Number Groups button.
