Installations (tsbsc1110m000)

Use this session to maintain configurations for a selected Installation group.

Example

Two engines, each of which has the code CF6, and which belong to your business partner MACH Industries (MACHI), are identified as one Installation group. The Installation group is called CF6 machine MACHI.

Note

You can use the Sort by command on the View menu to choose the way you want to display the Installation group data.

On the appropriate menu, you can choose:

  • Create Physical Breakdown - Enables you to generate a physical breakdown structure from one of the following:
  • Physical Breakdown- Enables you to view or maintain the multilevel or single-level parent-child relations between serialized items that form a physical breakdown. A physical breakdown is defined for a configuration, which enables you to view the configuration's built-up structure and as-maintained structure.
  • Item Breakdown- Enables you to view or maintain the parent-child relations between items that form an item breakdown.
  • Item Details- Starts the Serialized Items (tscfg2100m000) session.
  • Activate Installations- Starts the Activate Installations (tscfg2210m500) session, which enables you to switch the status of multiple configurations to Active in one run.

 

Installation Group

The installation group to which the configurations, anonymous items. or serialized items are linked.

Description

The description or name of the Installation group.

Line

The number that identifies an anonymous item or a serialized item in the installation group.

Item

The anonymous item that can belong to an item breakdown and that is linked to this Installation group. The number in the Installation field identifies the item (breakdown) for the Installation group.

Note
  • For an anonymous item, you can specify a quantity in the Number of Items field.
  • To link a serialized item to the Installation group, you must select the item's serial number in the Serial Number field.
Serial Number

To link a serialized item to this Installation group, you can enter the item's serial number in this field.

Note

This field is not available if you have entered a quantity for the anonymous item.

Description

The description or name of the item.

Number of Items

The number of anonymous items for this Installation.

Note

This field is not available if you link a serialized item to this Installation group.

Status Start Time

The time when the Status field is set or changed.

Status

The Status of the Installation group line.

 

Create Physical Breakdown

Displays the various options to create a Physical Breakdown. The options available to create a Physical Breakdown are:

  • From Item Breakdown.
  • From As-built structure.
  • From ASCII File.
  • From Project Breakdown structure.

Use this option to create a new installation.

From Item Breakdown...

Use this option to create a physical breakdown from Item breakdown.

From As-built Structure...

Use this option to create a physical breakdown from As-Built Structure.

From BOM

Use this option to create a physical breakdown from Bill of Material.

From ASCII-File...

Use this option to create a physical breakdown from ASCII file.

From Project Breakdown Structures...

Use this option to create a physical breakdown from Project Breakdown Structures.

Physical Breakdown

Starts the Physical Breakdowns (tscfg2110m000) session.

Item Breakdown

Starts the Item Breakdowns (tscfg1110m000) session.

Item Details

Starts the Serialized Items (tscfg2100m000) session.

Activate Installations

Starts the Activate Installations (tscfg2210m500) session.

Planned Activities

Starts the Planned Activities (tsspc2100m000) session.

Generate

Generates a new serial number for the serialized item.
