Project Task (tppdm6111s000)

Use this session to maintain project-specific labor cost objects). These differ from standard labor cost objects in that they can only be used in one project. Use the Tasks (tppdm0511m000) session to list standard labor cost objects. A labor cost object represents the human effort required to perform a task. You can copy default values from standard labor cost objects. To do this, enter the code for the standard labor cost object in the Task field, and then confirm that you want to copy the standard labor data. The rest of the fields on this form are filled in with details taken from the standard labor cost object

The code that uniquely identifies the project.

Project Description

The description or name of the code.

Status

The project status.

Task

The code that uniquely identifies the cost object. To copy details from a previously defined standard labor cost object, enter the code here and then confirm that you want to copy the standard labor data. The rest of the fields on this form are then filled in with details taken from the standard labor cost object.

General
Description

The description or name of the code.

Search Key

The search key associated with the cost object.

Trade Group

The trade group associated with this cost object.

Trade Group Description

The description or name of the code.

Derived from

The code of the standard labor cost object from which this project-specific cost object is derived.

Use the session Tasks (tppdm0511m000) to list standard labor cost objects.

Derived from

The description or name of the code.

Text

If this check box is selected, the cost object has an associated text.

Cost
Cost Rate

The currency that the cost rate is expressed in.

Cost Rate

The default cost wage rate, per unit, for this cost object. The budget labor rate search path (as specified in the Projects (tppdm6100m000) session) determines whether or not this cost rate is used in the budget.

Final Labor Rate

If this check box is selected, the cost rate is the final rate and cannot be modified in the Update Project Prices and Rates (tppdm6201m000) session. This means that the rate remains stable for costs and budgets that reference it.

Cost Rate Transaction Date

The last date that the cost rate was changed.

In Home Currency

If your company uses an independent currency system you can view the rate in a different currency.

Control Code Labor

The control code associated with this cost object. S indicates that the control code is a standard cost object. P indicates that the control code is a project-specific cost object

Control Code Labor

The description or name of the code.

Control Function

This field indicates the function of the cost object for cost control.

Cost Component

The cost component associated with the cost object. You can use a cost component to create a cross view in your budget or in your cost control, for cost objects that share particular characteristics.

Sales
Sales Rate

The currency in which the sales rate is expressed.

Sales Rate

The sales wage rate, per unit, for the labor code. The budget labor rate search path (as specified in the Projects (tppdm6100m000) session) determines whether or not this sales rate is used in the budget.

If this check box is selected, the sales rate is the final rate and cannot be changed by the Update Project Prices and Rates (tppdm6201m000) session. This means that the rate remains stable for invoices that reference it.

Options
Register Progress

If this check box is selected, the progress can be entered while the project is in progress.

Remark: If the field Register Progress in the Projects (tppdm6100m000) session reads Yes or Variance=Inventory, the progress can be maintained for all cost objects that have the Register Progress check box selected.

The way the progress is computed depends on the setting of the field Register Progress for the project and the cost object.

Billable

If this check box is selected, the selected project labor cost object can be invoiced to the business partner.
