To create a time phased budget analysis code

A time phased budget (TPB) needs at least two components:

  • A top down budget version, maintained in the Budget Version (tpptc5100s000) session, see To use a time-phased budget.
  • A TPB analysis code.

To create the TPB analysis code do the following:

  • Go to the Time Phased Budget Analysis Codes by Project (tpptc5120s000) session, and create an analysis code or generate the code during generating a time-phased budget.
  • Link a top down version.
  • Specify the permitted baseline status value(s) for use in performance measurement.
  • Link the TPB analysis code to the project.

With this analysis code you can compare the various time-phased budgets in the Time Phased Budget (tpptc5821m000) session.

Note

The details that you enter in the Time Phased Budget Analysis Codes by Project (tpptc5120s000) session are the default values for the Generate Time Phased Budget (tpptc5200m000) session. If you change the values in the Generate Time Phased Budget (tpptc5200m000) session, LN updates them in the Time Phased Budget Analysis Codes by Project (tpptc5120s000) session after you generate the time-phased budget.
