Repetitive Manufacturing Parameters (tirpt0100m000)

Use this session to set up repetitive manufacturing.

 

Effective Date

The first day on which a record or a setting is valid. The effective date often includes the effective time.

Repetitive Production Schedules

If this check box is selected, repetitive production schedules are used to manufacture the product.

Note

Mandatory for items with default supply source Repetitive.

Number Group for Production Models

The number group in which the series for production model numbers are defined.

Allowed values

Number groups are defined in the Number Groups (tcmcs0151m000) session. You cannot select a number group that is already in use. The number group must be dedicated to Production.

Production Model Series

The default series that is used to generate production model codes.

Allowed values

Number Group for Production Schedules

The number group in which the series for production schedules are defined.

Series for Manual Schedule Creation

The default series used when manually generating production schedules in Repetitive Manufacturing.

Series for Enterprise Planning

The series that is used by Enterprise Planning to generate production schedules in Repetitive Manufacturing.

Number Group for Warehousing Orders

The number group in which series for warehousing orders are defined.

Series for Warehousing Orders

The series that is used to generate warehousing-order numbers.

Number Group for Work Cell Cost Documents

The number group in which the series for work cell cost documents are defined.

Series for Work Cell Cost Documents

The default series used for creating work cell cost documents.

Work Cell Cost Document Duration

Specify the duration of the schedule line.

Note

The duration can be:

  • Day
  • Week
  • 4 Weeks
  • Month
Generate Serial Numbers

Specify when the serial numbers for a schedule line are generated.

  • Manually
  • On Release
Backflushing Method

Specify the backflushing method.

Backflushing Method

Backflushing without Warehouse Orders

If this check box is selected, materials are backflushed without warehouse orders to issue material inventory.

Report on Work Stations

If this check box is selected, schedule lines are reported completed at work station and work cell levels.

If this check box is cleared, schedule lines are only reported completed on work cell level.

Note

Reporting completed is mandatory at work stations marked as count points.

Repair Process

If this check box is selected, items can be send for repair during manufacture.

Multi-Product Production

If this check box is selected, use of production models for multiple end products is implemented.

  • The Job Shop Production Schedules check box can only be selected if the Repetitive Production Schedules check box is cleared.
  • For RPT Items, repetitive production schedules cannot be used.
Prod Order Series for Transferring

The series that is used for transferring planned orders to JSC production orders in the Production Schedules (tirpt1500m000) session.

This order series is one of the series specified in the First Free Numbers (tcmcs0150m000) session.

Show Current Production Schedules Only

If this check box is selected, the application only shows production schedules for the current period.

If this check box is cleared, the application shows all production schedules.
