Copy Routing (tirou2201m000)Use this session to copy one or more operations from one routing (source) to another (target). To copy the data of an item routing, select the routing (code) and the item. If the source routing concerns a standard routing, only select a routing (code). You can:
Note When you copy to or from customized items, the routing code is defaulted to the default routing code as stored in the routing parameters.
Manufactured Item Select the manufactured item. Routing Select the routing that you want to copy. Operation The operation you want to copy to the target item. Effective Date The date when the validity period of an entity starts. In the case of effectivity control the reference date is checked against the effective date. If the reference date is greater than or equal to the effective date the configuration entity is valid. Expiry Date The date from which a record or a setting is no longer valid. The expiry date often includes the expiry time. Manufactured Item An item that occurs in any module of Manufacturing. It is a purchased, manufactured, or generic item that is used in a generic/production bill of material or in a generic/production routing. Routing Select the target routing. Copy Copy Process Specify the way the copied data is handled. Allowed values Step Size Specify the step size for adding operations to the routing. Note A smaller step allows more sub-operations to be added. Specifying a smaller step size lowers the risk of running out of operation numbers. Effectivity Statements If this check box is selected, all exceptions are copied to the target routing. Tooling If this check box is selected, tooling data is copied. Activities If this check box is selected, the activities assigned to the routing are copied to the target routing. This option is only available if both the source and the target are customized items. Process Variables If this check box is selected, process variables are copied. Operation Steps If this check box is selected, operation steps are copied to the target routing. Instructions If this check box is selected, instructions are copied. Setup Classes and States If this check box is selected, setup class and setup state are defined. Reference Designators If this check box is selected, reference designator are copied. Skills If this check box is selected, the skills are copied.
