An item that occurs in any module of Manufacturing. It is a purchased, manufactured, or generic item that is used in a generic/production bill of material or in a generic/production routing.
Operation (Step) - Process Variables (tirou1111m000)Use this session to link one or more process variables directly to an operation, or to an operation step of a microrouting.
Item An item that occurs in any module of Manufacturing. It is a purchased, manufactured, or generic item that is used in a generic/production bill of material or in a generic/production routing. Routing The sequence of operations required to manufacture an item. For each operation, the task, machine, and work center are specified, as well as information about setup time and cycle time. Operation One of a series of steps in a routing that are carried out successively to produce an item. The following data is collected during a routing operation:
This data is used to compute order lead times, to plan production orders and to calculate standard cost. / The sequence number of the operation. This number is based on the effective/expiry dates, and is used to distinguish between operations. The effectivity and expiry date for operations are used in:
Operation Step A suboperation connected to a routing operation. An operation step can contain information such as, instructions, process information, and tools information. Task An activity to manufacture or repair an item. For example, sawing, drilling, or painting. A task is carried out on a work center, and can be related to a machine. Work Center The default work center where the task is carried out. Machine The machine on which the operation is performed. Process Variable A setting or an input value related to a machine, a tool, or to process quality that is relevant to carry out an operation or an operation step. For example, cutting depth, cutting speed, and temperature. Norm The process variable target value. Limit Type Select how the measurement deviation is expressed. Note
Allowed values Upper Limit The upper limit of the process variable as an absolute value. Lower Limit The lower limit of the process variable as an absolute value. Lower Tolerance The lower limit of the process variable as a percentage. Upper Tolerance The upper limit of the process variable as a percentage. Inspection Description The description of the inspection method. Registration Type The type of registration that is applicable for the measured values of process variable. By default, this value is set to Instruction Only. Allowed values SampleFrequency [%] The sample frequency is the total quantity that is to be measured. The sample frequency is expressed as a percentage. Note This field is enabled only if Registration Type field is set to Optional Registration or Mandatory Registrations.
