Defining Structure Levels

In the Structure Levels (tigrt0199m000) session you can define the number of levels of the main family group. The main family group is parent to all other family groups and families. You can link the structure levels to the main family group by zooming to the Family Groups (tigrt0198m000) session. After you defined the total number of levels, you enter the number of characters for the code element for each separate level. The Families (tigrt0103m000) session builds up the family codes on the basis of the code elements. The maximum number of characters is eight. If the number of levels is four, two positions are available for each code element. If you decided for the maximum number of eight levels, only one position is available for each code element.
