Function: Planning/value added service (VAS) control

In this function, all value added service activities to be performed in the warehouse are planned and controlled. VAS orders are actually carried out in the warehouse management function VAS.

The objective of this process is to create VAS orders to update inventory levels of kits in the warehouse.

Sourcing or inventory monitoring will trigger this process to start because inventory levels are controlled there.

This process results in planned assembly orders, which can be carried out by the VAS process at warehouse level ( Function: Value Added Services (VAS)).
