Sales Order Line Component Potential Backorders (tdsls4164m000)

Use this session to maintain and manually confirm component back orders. Back orders can be confirmed one by one or in a batch.

Note
  • If the Confirm Component Back Orders automatically check box is selected in the Sales Order Parameters (tdsls0100s400) session, LN automatically confirms back orders.
  • After the back order is confirmed, LN generates a new component line with the Backorder check box selected in the Sales Order Line Components (tdsls4163m000) session.

 

Order Line

The sales order for which the back order is created.

Position

The number used to identify the position of the order line on the sales or purchase order.

Sequence Number

The number used to identify in detail the position number of a sales order (delivery) line or a purchase order line (detail).

Item

The end result of a production order.

A main item is either be changed to an end item (for delivery to a warehouse), or delivered directly to the customer in bulk.

Ordered Quantity

The quantity of items ordered by the sold-to business partner, expressed in the sales unit.

Sales Unit

The unit in which an item is sold.

Component Sequence

The sequence number of the sales order line component.

Item

The item code of the component.

Ordered Quantity

The ordered quantity of the component that is needed to produce the main item, expressed in the sales unit.

Sales order line's ordered quantity * Net Quantity
Ordered Quantity

The unit in which an item is sold.

Backorder Quantity

The number of items to be delivered at a later stage. This quantity does not need to be equal to the rejected quantity.

Note

If you manually change this quantity, you cannot exceed the original value.

Back Order Quantity

The unit in which the Backorder Quantity is expressed.

Back Order Quantityin Inventory Unit

The back order quantity expressed in the inventory unit.

Back Order Quantity in Inventory Unit

The unit of measure in which the inventory of an item is recorded, such as piece, kilogram, box of 12, or meter.

The inventory unit is also used as the base unit in measure conversions, especially for conversions that concern the order unit and the price unit on a purchase order or a sales order. These conversions always use the inventory unit as the base unit. An inventory unit therefore applies to all item types, also to item types that cannot be kept in stock.

Confirmed

If this check box is selected, the back order is a confirmed back order.

New Component Sequence

The sequence number of the new sales order component line that is generated after confirmation of the back order. This component line has the Backorder check box selected in the Sales Order Line Components (tdsls4163m000) session.

Canceled

If this check box is selected, the back order is canceled.

 

Confirm

Confirms the back order.

Cancel Line

Cancels the back order.

Undo Confirm

Cancels the confirmation of the back order. As a result, the new sales order component line that is generated after confirmation of the back order is deleted in the Sales Order Line Components (tdsls4163m000) session.

Including Confirmed

Displays not only unconfirmed, but also confirmed back orders.

Including Cancelled and Confirmed

Displays not only unconfirmed, but also canceled and confirmed back orders.

Including Cancelled

Displays not only unconfirmed, but also canceled back orders.

Parent Component Sequence

Opens the parent sales order component line.

New Component Sequence

Opens the new sales order component line that is generated after confirmation of the back order.

Confirm Sales Backorder (Batch)

Starts the Confirm Sales Backorder (Batch) (tdsls4210s000) session, in which you can confirm a selected range of back orders.
