Material Price Information (tcmpr1600m000)

Use this session to view the material price information for a business document.

Note

The material price information is defaulted and calculated based on the material price agreement retrieved for the business document.

Header and lines tabs

The values of the fields on the Document tab of the header, are retrieved from the Material Price Agreement for Procurement (tcmpr0630m000) or Material Price Agreement for Sales (tcmpr0630m100) sessions.

The values of the fields on the Price Break Down tab of the header, display the total price of all the material lines that are available on the Material Lines tab.

The lines on the Material Lines tab refer to the Document Material Information (tcmpr1110m000) session, in which you can view the materials that are linked to the business document.

Note

If the Ignored check box is selected for a material line in the Document Material Information (tcmpr1110m000) session, prices for the line are excluded from the total price in the current session.

 

Business Object

The number of the business object to which the material price information is linked.

Business Object Reference

A transaction identification more detailed than the business object, for example, a receipt number or an order number. You can use the reference during reconciliation to match transactions if the business object alone does not provide enough information, for example, during GRNI reconciliation.

Note

The business object reference is not the same as a reference link.

Item

The raw materials, subassemblies, finished products, and tools that can be purchased, stored, manufactured, and sold.

An item can also represent a set of items handled as one kit, or which exist in multiple product variants.

You can also define nonphysical items, which are not retained in inventory but can be used to post costs or to invoice services to customers. The examples of nonphysical items:

  • Cost items (for example, electricity)
  • Service items
  • Subcontracting services
  • List items (menus/options)
Effectivity Unit

A reference number, for example a sales order line or a project deliverable line, that is used to model deviations for a unit effective item.

Material Price Agreement

The material price agreement from which the material price information is retrieved.

Note

If the material price information is manually specified, this field is blank.

Material Exchange

A global standard for industrial materials trading and price-risk management from which actual material prices are retrieved.

Examples of material exchanges are: London Metal Exchange (LME), Deutsche Elektrolyt-Kupfer-Notierung für Leitmaterial (DEL), and Singapore Metal Exchange (SIME).

Material Price Surcharge Factor

The material price surcharge factor, which is used to calculate material price surcharge costs.

Include Surcharges before Apply Discounts

If this check box is selected, discounts are deducted from the price including material price surcharges.

If this check box is cleared, discounts are deducted from the price excluding material price surcharges.

Manual

If this check box is selected, you manually specified or modified the material price information for this business document.

Note

Material price information for which this check box is selected, is not overwritten during the process of redetermining material price information.

Text

If this check box is selected, a text is present.

Price Rule

The date(s) used to determine the material actual prices.

Price on Date
Specific Date

The date and time for retrieving the material actual price.

This field is available only if the Price on Date field is Specific Date.

Price on Related Date

The number of time units or periods before or after the Document Date, Actual Transaction Date, or Invoice Date, which is used to determine a derived-from date for calculating the material actual price.

This field is available only if the Price Rule is Price on Related Date.

Average Price by Period

The number of time units or periods before or after the Document Date, Actual Transaction Date, Invoice Date, or Specific Date over which an average material actual price is calculated.

This field is available only if the Price Rule is Average Price by Period.

Average Price by Date Range

The date range for the period over which an average material actual price is calculated.

This field is available only if the Price Rule is Average Price by Date Range.

Price excluding Material Surcharges

The document line's initial price.

Note

For contract lines and quotation lines this field is called Price excluding Material Surcharges, because contract and quotation lines cannot have material price surcharges.

Material Surcharges

The total of all material price surcharges.

General and Administrative Mark-Up
Price

The price on the document line, which is the sum of the item price and the total material price.

Currency

The currency in which the document line price is expressed.

Price Unit

The unit to which the (sales/purchase) price applies.

Material Price

The total of all material base prices.

Note

When calculating totals, the item material contents and their billable quantity factors are taken into account.

Material Actual Price

The total of all material actual prices.

Note

When calculating totals, the item material contents and their billable quantity factors are taken into account.
