The use of decentralized multisite planning

Decentralized multisite planning only involves local scenarios. You do not need to set up a special multisite scenario, and you do not need to select the following check boxes:

  • The Central Multi Site Planning check box in the Scenarios (cprpd4100m000) session.
  • The Central Multi Site Planning check box in the Items - Planning (cprpd1100m000) session.

You only need to define supplying relationships between the sites involved. Enterprise Planning uses these relationships to carry out distribution planning, and to pass on requirements from one site to another.

You can define supplying relationships in the Supplying Relationships (cprpd7130m000) session.

Note

The passing on of distribution requirements ( dependent distribution demand) between sites only works if you use the same scenario code in each site.
