Planning Cluster An object used to support business processes such as forecasting, inventory planning, or sales. A planning cluster represents one or more business locations for which these planning processes are performed. Various entities such as warehouses, work centers, sales offices, or purchase offices are grouped by planning clusters to accomplish that planning is performed for these groups of entities. External If this check box is selected, the planning cluster is associated with a sold-to business partner for which you perform the supply planning. You can only select this check box in a vendor managed inventory (VMI) situation. Sold-to Business Partner The sold-to business partner associated with this planning cluster. In a vendor managed inventory (VMI) setup, LN uses the planning cluster's sold-to business partner and optionally the ship-to business partner to search for a terms and conditions agreement between you and a customer for which you perform the supply planning. Ship-to Business Partner The ship-to business partner associated with this planning cluster.
