| Handling Unit Blocking (whwmd6140m000)Use this session to to block or unblock handling units. If you block a handling unit, LN blocks the stock points
contained in the handling unit. If the handling units has child handling units, LN blocks the child
handling units and the stock points contained in the child handling units. Handling Unit The blocked handling unit. This can be a
parent or a child handling unit. If this handling unit has no child handling units, you can
view the stock point information in the Stock Point tab of the current session.
If the handling unit is a parent, you can view the blocked stock point of the
child handling units in the Blocked Stock Points (whwmd6550m000) session. To start this session, select the current
handling unit and from the appropriate menu, select Blocked Stock Points. Status The handling unit's status. Reason for Blocking The reason code of type Inventory Blocking excluding EP or Inventory Blocking including EP as defined in the Reasons (tcmcs0105m000) session. User The logon code of the employee who activates a blocking. Only
the user who activated a block can remove it Blocking Date The date and time of the blocking action. Warehouse A place for storing goods. For each warehouse, you can enter
address data and data relating to its type. Location A distinct place in a warehouse where goods are stored. A warehouse can be divided into locations to manage the
available space, and to locate the stored goods. Storage conditions and blocks
can be applied to individual locations. Item The raw materials, subassemblies, finished products, and tools
that can be purchased, stored, manufactured, and sold. An item can also represent a set of items handled as one kit,
or which exist in multiple product variants. You can also define nonphysical items, which are not
retained in inventory but can be used to post costs or to invoice services to
customers. The examples of nonphysical items: - Cost items (for example, electricity)
- Service items
- Subcontracting services
- List items (menus/options)
Lot A number of items produced and stored together that are
identified by a (lot) code. Lots identify goods. Text If this check box is selected, additional text related to the reason for
