| Inventory by Specification (whwmd2519m000)Use this session to view inventory by
either: - Warehouse and item
- Warehouse, item, and specification. This is applicable if allocated inventory is
present for the warehouse and item combination.
The allocated-to inventory displayed in this
session is allocated based on specifications. You can use specifications to
allocate inventory to demand orders if the allocation and hard pegging
functionality is implemented. If the Advise Unallocated Inventory check box is selected in
the Inventory Handling Parameters (whinh0100m000) session, outbound advice for outbound order lines with specifications can include unallocated inventory (inventory without
specifications). Availability The Availability tab displays the Economic Stock, the Actual Available Inventory, and the Actual Available Inventory for Planning for a
warehouse and item. Economic Stock: A + B - C + D - E Actual Available Inventory: A - F - G Actual Available Inventory for Planning: A - H + D - E Allocated to Sold-to Business Partner Allocated inventory whose specification includes a business

session. The reference is a reference code to which
the inventory was allocated, and is one of the characteristics of a specification. LN can use the inventory specified by this record to
fulfill a demand specified by this reference and for no other
purpose. LN can use this field in two ways: - If the Sold-to Business Partner field is filled, LN uses the Reference field to record a reference code defined by
a customer.
- If the Sold-to Business Partner field is empty, LN uses the Reference field to record an internal
reference.
You can use a reference code to keep a
collection of parts linked together, even if they follow different routings,
for example, if some of the parts are transported to a subcontractor to be returned later. Product Variant This filter displays the records based on the product variant specified in the field. Inventory by Specification Warehouse The warehouse in which the allocated inventory is
stored. Warehouse The warehouse in which the allocated inventory is
stored. Item The raw materials, subassemblies, finished products, and tools
that can be purchased, stored, manufactured, and sold. An item can also represent a set of items handled as one kit,
or which exist in multiple product variants. You can also define nonphysical items, which are not
retained in inventory but can be used to post costs or to invoice services to
customers. The examples of nonphysical items: - Cost items (for example, electricity)
- Service items
- Subcontracting services
- List items (menus/options)
Effectivity Unit A reference number, for example a sales order line or a project
deliverable line, that is used to model deviations for a unit effective item. Inventory Unit The unit of measure in which the inventory of an item is
recorded, such as piece, kilogram, box of 12, or meter. The inventory unit is also used as the base unit in measure
conversions, especially for conversions that concern the order unit and the
price unit on a purchase order or a sales order. These conversions always use
the inventory unit as the base unit. An inventory unit therefore applies to all
item types, also to item types that cannot be kept in stock. Demand Peg Allocated to Sold-to Business Partner LN can use the
