Additionally, this session provides these options that allow you to trace the life cycle of lot or serialized items in a graphical folder structure:

• Where Used
  Displays the physical breakdown structure of the end items or other higher-level items in which the selected component item is used. For example, if component X is defective, use this option to track the end items in which item X is used, to prevent these end items from being shipped to customers before the problem with item X is solved.
• Where Supplied
  Displays the physical breakdown structure of the component items that constitute the selected item. This option helps tracking defective component items.
