Using the Where Supplied option in the Item, Lot and Serial sessionThe Where Supplied option provides a top-down view of the item selected in the Selection (whltc3600m200) session. The top-down view is displayed in the graph that constitutes the Tracking (whltc3800m000) session. In the graph, the item selected in the Selection (whltc3600m200) session is displayed in the top folders titles As Built and, if an as-maintained structure is present, As Maintained. The lower levels of the physical breakdown structure of the selected item are displayed in the subfolders. For example, if the selected item is the end item, the cascading folders display the component items. Note
If you right-click a folder in the graph, you can start various sessions in which details of the item, lot, and/or serial number contained in the folder are displayed. If you select a folder in the graph, all transactional information relating to the item, lot, and/or serial number contained in the folder is displayed in the Item, Lot and Serial Transactions (whltc3510m000) session, which constitutes the lower half of the Item, Lot and Serial 360 (whltc3600m100) session. Example The picture shows the Item, Lot and Serial 360 (whltc3600m100) session, in which item A, serial number 14, and the Where Supplied option is selected. Item A was received in the warehouse on January 1, 2023. In the graph, the user selects serial number 14 of item A and then selects item D, serial number 0039. This is one of the bottom-level components of the as-built structure of item A, serial 14. Next, the user opened the as-maintained structure of item A and cascaded down to item D, serial number 0073. This component was used to replace the defective item D, serial number 0039. In the lower half of the Item, Lot and Serial 360 (whltc3600m100) session the transactions related to item D, serial number 0073 are displayed. For example, the service order in which the replacement of item D, serial number 0039 with item D, serial number 0073 is registered.
