Print Packing Slips (whinh4475m000)

Use this session to print packing slips. You can print a packing slip for each confirmed shipment.

You can also reprint existing packing slips.

Back order quantity

If the shipped quantity is lower than the ordered quantity for a particular order line, the back order quantity is printed on the packing slip related to the outbound order line. LN calculates the back order quantity when the packing slip is printed, without checking whether a back order will actually be printed.

The calculation is based on the data available on the outbound order line. The back order quantity is calculated as follows:

QO - (QA - [QENS + QNS])
QO- Quantity Ordered
QA- Quantity Approved
QENS-Quantity Expected Not Shipped
QNS-Quantity Not Shipped

Note
  • If possible, the back order quantity is printed in the ordered unit. Otherwise, the inventory unit is used.
  • If over-deliveries occur, the approved quantity can be higher than the ordered quantity. Consequently, the back order calculation may result in a negative value. In such cases, the back order quantity is set to 0.0.
  • If the outbound order line has multiple shipment lines, the back order quantity is printed once per combination of outbound order line and packing slip.

Device Selection once
If this check box is selected, the output device used in a preceding print run is applied. The output device is inherited from the previous print run as long as you do not close the session. After closing and restarting the session, you must again select an output device.

This option is useful if this session is open for a relatively long time during which you want to print various times using the same output device, for example for different selection ranges.
