Convert Infor LN User to Database User (ttdba0915m000)

Use this session to convert a group of LN users to database users for a selected RDBMS. The link between the LN user and database user is created during this process. The LN user must be linked to a database user to use information from the database.

You can use these procedures to convert LN users to database users:

Database
The database code.
Note

Create the database in the Database Definitions (ttaad4510m000) session.

OS Authentication
If this check box is selected,, no password is required for an LN user. The user must be defined manually as an OS Authenticated user in the RDBMS. The actual procedure depends on the RDBMS. Whether or not the porting set supports this kind of authentication can be found in the Release Notes of the porting set at hand.
System logon
If this check box is selected, the system login of the Tools user is mapped to a database user.

The system logon is defined in the User Data (ttaad2500m000) session.

Group
The database group code.

A database group is unique in every database. You must create a database group before you create a database user, because the database user is always part of a database group.

Display Errors
If this check box is selected, the errors that occur during the conversion process are displayed.
