To use contract quotations

The use of the service-contract quotation functionality falls into three areas:

  • The specification of the terms and conditions of what is to be covered by the service-contract quotation.
  • The varying of cost parameters to achieve the desired returns (or profits).
  • The management of the stages of a service-contract quotation.

After the service-contract quotation is created, price simulations can be performed. By varying, for example, the pricing method, different final totals can be calculated and displayed. You can then choose the one that is within the gross margin required, or you can search permission to quote outside this range.

The various stages that a service-contract quotation goes through are identified by its status. The status changes after interaction with the business partner. This functionality is performed in the Contract Quotations (tsctm2100m000) session, and in its associated details and print sessions.

The status levels are:

  • Free
  • Printed
  • Accepted (for Contract)
  • Processed
  • Canceled
