Search Criteria (Serialized Items) (tsmdm0281m000)

Use this session to search for serialized items. Based on the search criteria you enter, LN displays the serialized items in the Found Serialized Items (tsmdm0581m000) session.

You can enter the search criteria for serialized items or for the location address of serialized items. In the fields under Attribute Search Argument Location Address you can use a blank space and a period (.) as wildcard characters.

Contact Person
The person with whom you discuss business transactions. For example, you address questions, quotations, and follow-up calls, direct mail, and promotional gifts to the contact. The contact's data include the name, telephone number, e-mail address, and other details.

Description
The description or name of the code.
Default Business Partner for Order
The roles of the serialized items, on which LN executes the search of the business partner.
Business Partner
The business partner who orders goods or services from your organization, who owns the configurations you maintain, or for whom you perform a project. Usually a customer's purchase department.

The agreement with the sold-to business partner can include:

  • Default price and discount agreements
  • Sales order defaults
  • Delivery terms
  • The related ship-to and invoice-to business partner

Sold-to B.P.
The description or name of the code.
Installation Group
A set of serialized items that have the same location and are owned by the same business partner. Grouping serialized items into an installation group enables you to maintain them collectively.

The description or name of the code.
Item
The raw materials, subassemblies, finished products, and tools that can be purchased, stored, manufactured, and sold.

An item can also represent a set of items handled as one kit, or which exist in multiple product variants.

You can also define nonphysical items, which are not retained in inventory but can be used to post costs or to invoice services to customers. The examples of nonphysical items:

  • Cost items (for example, electricity)
  • Service items
  • Subcontracting services
  • List items (menus/options)

A group of serialized items with similar features.

Department
A department that consists of one or more persons and/or machines with identical capabilities, that can be considered as one unit for the purposes of service and maintenance planning.
