Work Cell A production unit consisting of one or more work stations in a
fixed sequence. A work cell is used in repetitive manufacturing for the production of a repetitive item. Shift The production work force can be organized in shifts. The most
common models are one, two or three shifts models, but more complicated models
are possible with different shift divisions planned for various days of the
week. A shift has the following properties:
Note A shift with a start date and time in the past cannot be deleted. Start The shift start date and time. End The shift end date and time. Production Start Date The date and time production for the schedule line
started. Production Schedule The production schedule ID. Schedule Position The line's position in the schedule. Product A repetitive item (also called RPT item) is a manufactured item
whose production is controlled by schedules. A schedule contains multiple
schedule lines that can be viewed, released, reported as complete, and so on,
in one session. A repetitive item characteristics:
Anonymous items and to-order items can be repetitive. However, only to-order items that are Standard-to-Order can be used in RPT schedules. You cannot use generic items or Engineer-to-Order items in an RPT schedule. Ordered The quantity items ordered. Completed The quantity items reported Completed. Quantity Rejected The quantity product rejected. Note You will have to decide if the product is scrapped, moved to quarantine or repaired. Scrapped The quantity product scrapped. To Quarantine The quantity product quarantined during the specified
shift. To Repair The quantity item transferred to a repair cell. Repaired The quantity product returned to the schedule line from the repair cell. Delivered The quantity of finished goods posted to inventory. To Backflush The quantity to backflush. Backflushed The quantity already backflushed. Original Start Date The earliest date materials to manufacture the item are
available. Original Finish Date The earliest date the planned quantity can be
completed. Production Finish Date The date on which the production order is completed. Actual Production Start Date The actual date on which manufacture of the items for
production is started. Actual Production Finish Date The actual date on which manufacture of the items for
production is completed. Origin Status Warehousing Order An order for handling goods in the warehouse. A warehouse order can be of the following inventory-transaction types:
Each order has an origin and contains all the information required for warehouse handling. Depending on the item (lot or non-lot) and warehouse (with or without locations), lots and/or locations can be assigned. The order follows a predefined warehousing procedure. Note In Manufacturing a warehousing order is often called a warehouse order.
