Print Kanban Labels (tirou2402m000)Use this session to print Kanban labels. In this session, you must define (ranges for) a combination of item, routing and operation. For each operation in a routing, a work center exists. With this session, you can print kanban labels to pass intermediate products on to the next work center in a routing. Note You can define kanban related information in the Routing Operations (tirou1102m000) session.
From Item An item that occurs in any module of Manufacturing. It is a
purchased, manufactured, or generic item that is used in a generic/production
bill of material or in a generic/production routing. Routing The sequence of operations required to manufacture an item. For each operation, the task, machine, and work center are specified, as well as information about setup time and cycle time. Operation One of a series of steps in a routing that are carried out
successively to produce an item. The following data is collected during a routing operation:
This data is used to compute order lead times, to plan production orders and to calculate standard cost. Configuration Reference Date A user definable date that LN uses to check whether
an operation is valid. An
operation is valid on the reference date if it falls within the operation's
effective date and expiry date, as defined in the Routing Operations (tirou1102m000) session. Note You can only print kanban labels for valid operations. Label Layout If you use Kanban labels to trigger supply on the job shop, the label layout entered in
this field determines the format of the labels. You can define the use of
kanban labels in the Print Kanban Labels (tirou2402m000) session. Note The default value in this field equals the value defined in the Routing Parameters (tirou0100m000) session. Connect as phantom routing If the item range includes a phantom item, you can select
this check box to connect the combination of the item, routing and operation as
a phantom routing to an operation of an item situated on a higher BOM level. As a result, the kanban labels are printed for the selected (joined) operation in the (joined) routing of the (joined) item in the higher BOM level. Routing to Join Select the routing that must be linked
to the phantom routing. Operation to Join Select the operation that must be
linked to the phantom routing. Item to Join Select the item, situated on the higher BOM level, that must be
linked to the phantom routing.
Print Prints the entered selection.
