Routing Parameters (tirou0100m000)Use this session to:
If you make the required changes in the details session and save the new parameter set, LN performs the following actions:
Effective Date The date and time that the parameters were changed. The
parameters are valid up to the effective date of a more recent parameter
setting. The current set has no effective date. Description The description of the parameter set. The default is the
description of the previous parameter set, so to avoid confusion you must
always delete this and add a new text. Routing Details Default Routing The default routing in this field is selected by LN if:
Production Rate Time Unit The unit of time in which the production rate is
expressed. Use Production Rates LN uses either an item's cycle time or the production rate to
calculate the operation time. Depending on the value of this parameter, LN selects the value of
the Cycle Time (min) field or the Production Rate field (for example, in the Routing Operations (tirou1102m000) session). If this check box is selected, the value of the Production Rate field in the Routing Operations (tirou1102m000) session is used to calculate the operation time. If this check box is cleared, the value of the Cycle Time (min) field in the Routing Operations (tirou1102m000) is used to calculate the operation time. The Production Rate field in the Routing Operations (tirou1102m000) session is disabled. Scrap Quantity and Yield on Operation Update Tools and Process Variables If this check box is selected, you can manage the tools and process variable for this routing. Allow Parallel Operations in Routing If this check box is selected, you can define network routings. A network
routing has parallel operations. If this check box is cleared, the Next fields in the Routing Operations (tirou1102m000) and Generic Routing (tipcf3120m000) sessions are hidden. Allow Assembly Warehouses in Job Shop If this check box is selected, shop floor warehouses used at job shop work centers can simultaneously be used for assembly line stations. Transfer Batch Method For efficiency reasons, it can be necessary to start work on
a routing operation before the preceding operation is finished. The time you
can start work on the operation is determined by the amount of items that is
already finished on the preceding operation. This amount can be expressed in
terms of an item quantity (transfer batch quantity), or as a percentage of
items (transfer batch percentage). The selected transfer batch method, Quantity or Percentage, determines whether you have to deal with a transfer batch quantity or a transfer batch percentage. You can define or display transfer batch quantities/percentages in the following sessions:
Allowed values Job Shop Production Schedules Perc Setup Time for Rate Calculation This field is used in the rate calculation for repetitive items. This field provides the percentage of
the setup time of an operation that must be subtracted from the basic day
capacity to calculate the number of hours available for production. Kanban Details Label Layout If you use Kanban labels to trigger supply on the job shop, the label layout entered in
this field determines the format of the labels. You can define the use of kanban labels in the Print Kanban Labels (tirou2402m000) session. Operation Step Text If this check box is selected, a text is available.
