Product Variant The code that uniquely identifies the product variant. Product Variant The description of the product variant. Option Set The option set only plays a role
if the Multilevel PCF Choice Structure check box in the Product Configuration Parameters (tipcf0100m000) session is selected. Item The code of the configurable item for which an option set is defined for
the relevant product variant. Description The description of the generic item to which the option set is
linked. If the number of the option set is equal to zero, the item description
is shown here as recorded for the generic item in the Items (tcibd0501m000) details session. If the number of the option set is
not equal to zero, the description of the generic item is shown as recorded in
the Generic BOMs (tipcf3110m000) details session. Default Supply Source The source that supplies an item by default. You can use
purchase orders or schedules, production orders or schedules, assembly orders,
or warehousing orders to supply an item. The default supply source determines what type of order is used to supply the item, but in general, you can override the default and specify an alternate source. This field can be used to determine what type of supply order LN must create if you enter a sales order for this item and the item's inventory on hand is not sufficient.
If the item type is Manufactured or Generic, this field can be Job Shop or Assembly. If the item type is Engineering Module, this field is Assembly and cannot be changed. If the item type is Purchased, this field is Purchase and cannot be changed. Sequence Number The sequence number of a product feature within an option set) of a product
variant. Product Feature The code of the product feature.defined for the relevant generic item in the Product Features by Configurable Item (tipcf1101m000) session. Description Enter the code for the language in which you want to print the
texts that you previously selected. Option The option value of the product feature that applies to this option set. Note If the bill of material (BOM) and routing are generated by Product Configuration, the options are derived from the Product Features by Configurable Item (tipcf1101m000) session. If the bill of material and routing are generated by CPQ Configurator the options are derived from the Validate Product Variants (tipcf5200m000) session. Text If this check box is selected, a text is present with
additional data about the product variant option. You can display this text by
clicking the Text Manager.
