Update Engineering Relationship (tiedm3220m000)Use this session to change the update method of the relationship with E-items for a number of revision-controlled items. You can define if an item is revision-controlled in the Items (tcibd0501m000) session. You can select the E-items and items using a variety of criteria in the Selection Range group box. When you alter the Set Update Method E-Item Relationship to field in the current session, it alters the value of the Update Method for E-Item Relation field in the Items (tcibd0501m000) session. Note The Update Method E-Item Relationship fields in the Selection Range group box enable you to select E-items by those criteria. If you want to alter those criteria, you must alter the Set Update Method E-Item Relationship to field in the Option box.

From Engineering Item An item in the process of development. You can define multiple revisions of an engineering item. Typically, the most recent revisions are still in a design or test phase, another revision may have been taken into production, and older revisions are obsolete.
