Archive/Delete Engineering Data (tiedm1250m000)

Use this session to archive either engineering revisions or mass BOM change data.

You can select the E-items and the corresponding revisions which must be archived by browsing through the appropriate sessions.

If LN is used to archives the data, all the engineering item data is stored in the archives. LN Common and LN Manufacturing can be archived too.

This data, related to selected engineering items, is archived:

  • Archive general data.
  • Engineering items.
  • Engineering item revisions.
  • Engineering item / item relationships.
  • Engineering BOMs.
  • Customized items.

The mass BOM change range that must be deleted from your current company and saved in a specific archive company.

Archive Related Revisions Data
If this check box is selected, the revisions that are part of the arhived mass BOM change which are also deleted from your current company, and saved in the archive company.
Archive Revision(s) up to
Revisions that are valid up to and including the date you specify in this field are deleted from your current company and saved in the archive company.

Archive General Data
If this check box is selected, the general data such as tasks and work centers is also archived.
Text
If this check box is selected, text associated with the E-item revisions is archived.
Overwrite Text
If this check box is selected, texts in the archive are replaced when a updated text is archived.
