Assembly Lines (tiasl1530m000)Use this session to display and define the general and costing data of an assembly line. The costing data is defined in Line Assembly Configurator (LAC), in Configurator.
Assembly Line A set of consecutive line stations in which FAS (Final Assembly
Schedule) items are manufactured. The items are manufactured by passing the
items from line station to line station and by carrying out operations at each
line station. An assembly line is subdivided into a number of line segments
separated by buffers. An assembly line can be either a main line or a supplying
line. Company A working environment in which you can carry out logistic or
financial transactions. All the transaction data is stored in the company's
database. Depending on the type of data that the company controls, the company is:
In a multisite structure, some of the database tables can be unique for the company and the company can share other database tables with other companies. Calendar Code The calendar code and availability type combination specified in the
parameters, that defines the working times of the assembly line. Note If you are working in a different company from the company specified for the assembly line, this field will be empty and unavailable. WIP Transfer Handling How the WIP transfer is carried out. Configuration Dependent If this check box is selected, the supply line can be included in the assembly line network model or exluded from the
assembly line network model which is planned to be used for the assembly of the end item. Material Cost Component Select the cost components you want to
use for material costs on this assembly line. All the matierial costs are
aggregated to this cost component. The material costs of the assembly parts can be stored by many different cost components. Every assembly part can have a different cost component. If you are working in a different company from the company of the assembly line, this field will be empty and unavailable. Operation Cost Component Select the cost components you want to
use for operation costs on this assembly line. The operation costs are stored
on this cost component. You can have operation costs that are related to assembly operations, and operation costs that are related to the operations to manufacture the assembly parts. Operation costs of the assembly parts can be stored on many different cost components if they are not aggregated. All operations are aggregated to the component in this field. If you are working in a different company from the company of the assembly line, this field will be empty and unavailable. Surcharge Cost Component Select the cost components you want to
use for overhead costs on this assembly line. The surcharge costs are stored on
this cost component. You can have surcharge costs that are related to the assembly operations and to the material and surcharge costs that are related to activities on the assembly line. The latter is the line surcharge. Surcharge costs of the assembly parts and operations can be stored on many different cost components if they are not aggregated. All surcharge costs are aggregated to the component in this field. If you are working in a different company from the company of the assembly line, this field will be empty and unavailable. Calculation Office Specify the line station that you want to use as the calculation office for this
assembly line. After the final assembly line of the assembly orders is closed,
the WIP is transferred to the calculation office. Note
Assembly Order Horizon A reference date against which processes or statuses are
evaluated. Example The assembly order time fence on an assembly line defines the end date of the period for which assembly orders must be created. If this time fence is 100 days, assembly orders must be created for product variants whose planned offline date is between now and 100 days. Similarly, a time fence can define when line station orders must be frozen, updated, and so on. Refresh Horizon The time taken to refresh assembly orders. Last Sequence Date Is updated with the current date when a new line sequence is
confirmed after rescheduling. This is to enable checking if the supplying line
is sequenced after its parent lines are sequenced.
Intercompany Trade Orders Starts the Intercompany Trade Order - Purchase (tcitr3600m300) or the Intercompany Trade Orders - Purchase (tcitr3100m300) session displaying the intercompany trade orders, if present, for the selected
line.
