Check Inventory (tiasc2240m000)Use this session to check inventory before the production process starts. This session analyses which assembly parts are required for the execution of the assembly orders, and it checks if the planned inventory stock will be sufficient. A report is generated to display assembly part shortages. In addition, you can generate lists of blocked assembly orders that require these shortage parts.
Requirement Date Specify the date or period for which the check must be
performed. Assembly Line Specify the assembly line or lines for which the check must be
performed. (Re)Generate Order Lists (Blocked Orders Only) Select this check box to generate lists of blocked orders that
require shortage parts. For each combination of requirement date and assembly
part, in the specified range, a list is created with as many blocked orders as
are available; unless for this combination no shortages occur or no orders can
be found. These lists contain only blocked orders and replace or delete any
existing lists for the same combination of requirement date and assembly
part.
Check Inventory Click to check if the inventory is sufficient for components
for which you selected the Critical for Inventory check box in the Items - Production (tiipd0101m000) session. Messages Click to display error messages.
