Assembly Inspection Protocol (tiapl1120m000)

Use this session to maintain multiple process variables for a specific Operation and line station. You can define the values such as norm, lower limit, and upper limit of the process variable. The inspection protocol enables inspection of the quality of the manufacturing process and registers the results.

Operation
The operation code that is linked to the line station.
Line Station
The code of the line station where the operation is performed.
Description
The description of the line station.
Sequence Number
A number that distinguishes assignments that are defined for the same combination of line station and operation.
Item
The code of the to be assembled item.
Description
The description of the assembly item.
Process Variable
The code of the process variable.
Description
The description of the process variable.
Norm
The target value of the process variable.
Unit
The unit in which the value of the process variable is measured.
Inspection Description
The description of the inspection method.
Limit Type
Select how the measurement deviation is expressed.
Note
  • If Absolute is selected, you must specify the upper and lower limits. Consequently the upper and lower tolerances are calculated.
  • If Percentage is selected, you must specify the upper and lower tolerances. Consequently the upper and lower limits are calculated.

Allowed values

Limit Type

Lower Limit
The lower limit of the process variable as an absolute value.
Upper Limit
The upper limit of the process variable as an absolute value.
Lower Tolerance
The lower limit of the process variable as a percentage.
Upper Tolerance
The upper limit of the process variable as a percentage.
Registration Type
The registration type indicates whether the results (measurements) need to be stored.
