Transform Function Model to Process Model by Reference Model (tgbrg2200m000)

Use this session to automatically incorporate relevant business processes in a reference model on the basis of the transformation rules in the current modeling version.

You can perform a test run before carrying out the actual transformation. So, the transformation is only printed to see the consequences. To perform the test run, select the Test Run check box.

 

Current Modeling Version
The version you currently use to create and modify model items.
Reference Model
A model that represents a line of business or business typology.

A reference model is built from a library (repository) of the following model items:

  • business-control model
  • business-function model
  • business-process model
Reference Model
The description or name of the model item.
Version
A group of model items that share some characteristics, such as the customer, owner, and effective date.
Version
The description or name of the model item.
Test Run
If this check box is selected, the transformation is printed, but not actually carried out. This way you can first check if the outcome is correct.
Purge Existing Model
If this check box is selected, business processes that are not derived from transformation rules are removed from the reference model that you specified.
Add Subprocesses
If this check box is selected, the linked subprocesses are imported.
Print
If this check box is selected, the transformed data is printed.

 

Transform
If you click this button (or command), the transformation rules are carried out, as a result of which relevant business processes are incorporated in the business model.
